The musical notes being played by Ollie and Charlie are from Brahms’s 6 Klavierstocke, OP. 118 No. 2 in A Major. The set of six pieces was dedicated to his lifelong friend, Clara Schumann, when she was in her seventies. Clara told him the pieces “constitute my only musical joy” and declared No. 2 “full of profound feeling” and remarked on “how dreamy it all is.” Among the finest of Brahms’s output, it was given and received with deep gratitude and thanks.
